Night Rain — rain falling through the dark.

A striped shirt in Indian Oxford, yarn-dyed on the loom. The ground is deep indigo and the stripes are pale grey-green, so the rain reads as falling through the night rather than marked on white.

The Oxford basketweave gives the cloth a fine pebbled surface and enough body to hold a collar. Soft point collar, clean placket, single-button cuffs, curved hem. Tonal indigo buttons. The Matsya fish is stitched small at the left chest in warm cream thread.
