Tideline — the high-water mark, worn.

The colour rises through this shirt. Pale off-white at the collar, deepening through soft greyed blues, to deep indigo at the hem. It is dyed into the yarn and woven, not printed on the surface — so there is no edge where one colour stops, only a slow rise, and the linen slub stays visible right through it.

Linen woven with cotton. Soft point collar, clean placket, single-button cuffs, curved hem. Buttons in a soft mid grey-blue, tonal to the middle of the rise. The Matsya fish is stitched small at the left chest in deep indigo thread, where the cloth is still pale.

This one takes longer to make than the rest.
